Did you have questions your first semester of college?  Did you have questions every semester of college?  Were these questions ever actually answered?

The Charlotte Seminole Club is embarking on a new program, in the hopes that we can assist local students while they attend Florida State University.  We also hope to foster continuing relationships after graduation, helping the Seminole family continue to grow.

The Big Nole, Lil’ Nole Program is inspired by similar mentoring and Big/Lil’ programs.  While many club members will not have daily contact with their Lil’ Nole, we hope that by having the resources of the club available, students will further enjoy their experience at FSU.  Big Nole’s will have the opportunity to provide information, support, and a local contact for students in Tallahassee.  Lil’ Nole’s will have the opportunity to cultivate new relationships, both within the university, as well as with alumni.

Some responsibilities of the program include:

Big Nole:

  • A willingness to provide information and support

  • An occasional e-mail

  • The sharing of your own college experience

  •  Answers to questions or directing student to the appropriate resource for answers

Lil’ Nole:

  •  A desire to create new relationships

  •  A need for new networks

  •  Willingness to voice questions and concerns

  •  Respect for your Big Nole’s time

So become a Big or Lil’ Nole today and help enrich a fellow Seminoles’ college experience!!!

If you are interested in participating in this program or have further questions, please contact Kema Gadson, the program’s chairperson, at info@charlotteseminoleclub.com.
